Excellent first layer adhesion, longer life

After optimizing the manufacturing process of the PrimaCreator Texture PEI sheet, the durability of the sheet is improved. In addition, the adhesion between the prints and the sheet is significantly improved, eliminating the need for adhesives. *In some situations, glue is required for very specific filaments

Self-release once cooled

PEI is an excellent material for 3D printing applications because of its ability to withstand repeated heating and cooling cycles of the printer's heated bed. Prints will easily peel off once the heated bed temperature reaches room temperature, and we always recommend waiting until it reaches 35℃ or below. If the print still sticks to the plate, simply bend the steel plate and the model will fall right into your hands.

Textured surface finish

The PrimaCreator Texture PEI plate offers a unique first layer surface. Through the application of a powder coating process, this PEI build plate creates a robust texture that adds texture to your prints.

Compatibility with various filaments, especially for PLA

PEI allows for printing with common materials such as PLA, TPU, PETG, and PVA.*Apply liquid glue or a glue stick to prevent the sheet from tearing if printing with a filament other than PLA.

Installation steps

• Step 1: Align the plate with the fixed points on the platform with the plate name facing you.
• Step 2: Lower the plate and attach it to the magnetic platform.

Please note that you may need to adjust other slicer settings depending on the model you are printing and your filament requirements.

Considerations

• Increasing the temperature of the heated bed improves the adhesion of the filament to the build plate. Users can adjust the temperature of the heated bed or apply glue if additional adhesion is needed.
• During the printing process, dust and grease on the surface of the print bed can negatively affect the adhesion of the material. It is recommended to clean the surface regularly with detergent and water to remove any dust or grease residue first. If this does not work, clean the surface with alcohol.
• Wait for the build plate to cool completely to avoid damaging the plate and prints when removing printed parts.
• Do not clean the plate with acetone as it will damage the PEI surface.
• Sanding the surface thoroughly with fine grit sandpaper (600 recommended) can help restore adhesion.
