After optimizing the manufacturing process of the PrimaCreator Texture PEI sheet, the durability of the sheet is improved. In addition, the adhesion between the prints and the sheet is significantly improved, eliminating the need for adhesives. *In some situations, glue is required for very specific filaments.

Self-release once cooled

PEI is an excellent material for 3D printing applications because of its ability to withstand repeated heating and cooling cycles of the printer's heated bed. Prints will easily peel off once the heated bed temperature reaches room temperature, and we always recommend waiting until it reaches 35℃ or below. If the print still sticks to the plate, simply bend the steel plate and the model will fall right into your hands.

Compatibility with various filaments

PEI allows you to print not only common materials like PLA, TPU, and PETG, but also materials that require high temperatures like ABS and nylon.

Prevents deformation with reliable magnetic adhesion

The PrimaCreator Texture PEI plate features a 0.5mm thick stainless steel plate that improves magnetic adhesion. This helps prevent warping and ensures optimal print quality during 3D printing by reducing the likelihood of the first layer peeling off due to warping. It also helps when printing larger models in warp-prone materials such as ABS, PC, and nylon.

Textured surface finish

The PrimaCreator Texture PEI plate offers a unique first layer surface. Through the application of a powder coating process, this PEI build plate creates a robust texture that adds texture to your print.

Installation steps

• Step 1: Align the plate with the fixed points on the platform with the name of the plate facing you
• Step 2: Lower the plate and attach it to the magnetic platform

Please note that you may need to adjust other slicer settings depending on the model you are printing and your filament requirements.

Considerations

• Increasing the temperature of the heated bed improves adhesion. Users should adjust the temperature of the heated bed according to their specific needs to achieve the most suitable adhesion level.
• Before auto-leveling, you need to repeatedly wipe the nozzle in the designated cleaning area of ​​the build plate to completely remove any residual material on the tip of the nozzle. The coating in the specially designed cleaning area will gradually wear out over time. This is normal and does not affect the print quality or lifespan of the nozzles, so there is no need to worry about any quality issues.
• Dust and grease buildup on the print bed will decrease adhesion. It is recommended to clean the surface regularly with detergent and water to maintain the best adhesion.
• Do not clean textured PEI with acetone, as this will damage the PEI surface.
• Always wait a few minutes before removing the printed models to allow the plate to cool and remove the print easily. This prevents damage to the plate and ensures a long life of the product.
• Sanding the surface thoroughly with fine grit sandpaper (600 recommended) can help restore adhesion.
• The PrimaCreator PEI build plate supports Bambu's automatic calibration process.
• The textured PEI sheet is considered a consumable part, which will degrade over time. The warranty will only cover manufacturing defects, not cosmetic damage such as scratches, dents or cracks. Defective sheets upon arrival are the only ones covered under the warranty.
