PLA is based on polylactic acid and is completely biodegradable and does not emit toxic fumes. This means you don't have to worry about using the filament indoors with children or pets nearby. Copymaster3D PLA also has the advantage of very low shrinkage, this means that you will have very precise prints, but also that the risk of warping is very low. While a heated build platform is not necessary, we recommend it as you will get the best adhesion. To be even more sure that the print adheres well to the print bed, we recommend using PrimaFIX. This will make the prints stick better but will also make it much easier to remove the print from the build surface once it has cooled. If using the heated bed we recommend a temperature between 30 and 60°C
