The PLA filament Glitter filament , net weight 1 kg (2.2 lbs) on spool, external diameter 210 mm, internal diameter of 60 mm and width 62 mm. The filament is vacuum sealed and contains a bag that absorbs moisture and allows the filament to stay dry. The thickness of the PLA filament is 1.75 mm and is available in 5 different shades.

PLA (polylactic acid) filament is a multipurpose, easy-to-use material for 3D printing. PLA filament is bioplastic which means it is a renewable and biodegradable material. As a biodegradable material its impact on the environment is minimal, especially compared to other petrochemical filaments (such as ABS). Optimal results are obtained with printing at a temperature between 200-230°C and the platen heated at 50-60°C. Please note that printing temperatures may differ slightly depending on the type of printer you use.

This PLA filament was specially made to make it easier for beginners to 3D print. Therefore, we recommend beginners to use PLA because it is more manageable and easier to use. It is a good material thanks to its excellent properties that allow it not to shrink during printing. Furthermore, it fits perfectly on the print bed. ABS filament is an excellent alternative, but it tends to shrink, so gripping and holding problems on the print bed are greater. PLA filament is a material that stands out for its glossy finish and is therefore also used for printing decorative elements.
