The new Raise3D E2CF: carbon 3D printing made simple
The E2CF is an IDEX 3D printer optimized for 3D printing carbon fiber (carbon) reinforced filaments. This desktop 3D printer is great for manufacturing, prototyping, and more.
Carbon fiber reinforced filament has low density, high strength and is resistant to corrosion, static electricity and high temperatures. It has the potential for a wide range of applications in industries that require significant strength-to-weight ratios for their solutions, such as the aviation industry and the automotive world. The E2CF is durable, easy to use and stable in operation, offering accurate prints.
Highly durable nozzles
The new silicon carbide nozzles have excellent wear resistance and thermal conductivity, which effectively reduces the abrasion that the carbon fiber composite filament subjects the nozzle to during printing and makes the nozzle more durable.
Dual Direct Drive - Double direct drive extrusion system
The gears are made of high strength steel and have been heat treated for better wear resistance. Using a custom gear profile, the filament is held securely in place to ensure it does not slip during extrusion. The system strength is increased to ensure pressure stability.
Designed for printing carbon fiber reinforced filaments
The E2CF can be perfectly combined with Raise3D's Industrial PA12 CF filament and its support material. In the future, other carbon fiber reinforced filaments will be available for E2CF, such as PPA CF, PET CF, PPS CF from Raise3D (with a printing temperature between 280 and 300 °C). Subsequently, filaments from third-party suppliers certified by the "Raise3D Open Filament Program", such as BASF and LEHVOSS, will also be available for the E2CF.

Raise3D Industrial PA12 CF filament is reinforced with short carbon fibers and features excellent stiffness and strength, heat resistance, low distortion and low water absorption. Meanwhile, this material has excellent strength-to-weight ratio and acquires improved mechanical properties and dimensional stability after annealing, making it suitable for replacing metal in the production of some lightweight components.
Raise3D filament dry box
Integrated hanging trays are used to position the filament and allow for a more even pull of the material. When closed, they can effectively prevent dust and moisture from affecting the material for up to 30 days*. *From Raise3D test data.
IdeaMaker slicing profiles
The E2CF features slicing profiles that have been repeatedly tested and verified by our engineers at ideaMaker. There is no need to adjust parameters before printing. Enjoy simple, high-quality printing.
Like other Raise3D products, E2CF can perform mass production and intelligent management with ideaMaker as the main software solution.
