DJI presents the innovative Zenmuse H30 series
DJI, the world leader in civilian drones and creative camera technology, today introduced the DJI Zenmuse H30 series. For the first time, DJI has pushed the limits of enterprise workloads, with clearer day and night images from afar and more precise angles. Both the H30T and H30 models are air-loaded with multi-sensors suitable for all weather conditions.
H30T integrates five main modules: wide-angle camera, zoom camera, infrared thermal imager, laser detector and NIR auxiliary light. The H30 model, however, integrates four modules: wide-angle camera, zoom camera, laser detector and NIR auxiliary light. Compatible with the DJI Matrice 300 RTK and Matrice 350 RTK, the Zenmuse H30 series uses intelligent algorithms that allow pilots to see with greater precision and clarity during the day and improve night vision in dark environments.
“DJI has once again pushed the boundaries of aerial imagery and set new standards for perception and imaging with the Zenmuse H30 series,” said Christina Zhang, DJI head of corporate strategy. “With unprecedented views, drone pilots will surely be able to improve the effectiveness of search and rescue operations, firefighting, industrial monitoring and implementing conservation projects. As integrated and powerful peak loads, they are designed to meet the needs of several critical industries. ”
Complete shots thanks to a wider and clearer vision
The Zenmuse H30 series allows pilots to see more clearly during flight. Thanks to the high-resolution 40 MP zoom camera (up to 34× optical zoom and up to 400 1 digital zoom), operators in public safety, emergency rescue, energy inspections and other critical infrastructure can observe and record more detailed information, such as reading a license plate from 650 m away.
In smoggy or high humidity conditions, the Electronic Dehazing function sharpens images taken with the zoom camera. Featuring low and high levels of haze removal, the Zenmuse H30 Series offers optimized vision for numerous operational environments, from emergency relief efforts to routine energy inspections.
The image stabilization algorithm of the Zenmuse H30 series reduces vibrations and delivers stable, clear images during various tasks, such as detailed inspections of power lines. Additionally, the laser detector provides positioning information for subjects that are 3 to 3,000 m away, with 2.5 times better performance than the previous generation.
More details day and night
In low light conditions, the Zenmuse H30 series zoom and wide-angle cameras can switch to Night Scene mode and ensure continuous operation throughout the day. In Night Scene mode, the zoom camera also supports IR light for more powerful infrared and NIR illumination, facilitating night surveillance and search and rescue operations.
Color and black-and-white night vision provide live viewing and high-quality recording, for optimized vision in search and rescue missions. Additionally, zoom and wide-angle cameras can use the intelligent image algorithms of Smart Capture mode to automatically evaluate the brightness of the surrounding environment and produce photos with natural transitions between highlights and shadows rich in detail.
More powerful infrared performance
The infrared thermal camera of the H30T model boasts a resolution of 1280×1024 with digital zoom up to 32×. It can detect temperatures up to 1600°C and assist firefighters in identifying fire risk areas. Additionally, the three infrared gain modes allow search and rescue teams to identify small temperature differences between objects, people and animals. With 4 times the resolution of the previous generation, the thermal camera further improves subject recognition and facilitates long-distance wildlife monitoring and conservation efforts.
The UHR (Ultra-High Resolution) infrared image function automatically activates when zoom levels are higher, for sharper images. With Link Zoom you can compare visible light and thermal images in parallel and locate the subject more quickly. Additionally, you can simultaneously control the zoom of the infrared camera and zoom camera to keep the FOVs aligned at all times and make it easier to quickly track subjects.
For rescue missions, the H30 series also supports pre-recording on the app for up to 30 seconds. In this way, first operators are facilitated in collecting evidence and acquiring scenes prior to recording.
Superior environmental adaptability
Rated IP54, the Zenmuse H30 series is dust and water resistant to operate reliably even in adverse weather conditions. It can also operate in extreme temperatures between -20°C and 50°C.
